
De Sheng Lim is an Australian-born lawyer, analyst, and award-winning photographer whose career bridges international justice and visual storytelling. He studied filmmaking at the Victorian College of Arts (2004–2005) and photography at the Photography Studies College, Melbourne (2005–2007), before running a commercial and documentary studio from 2007 to 2014. His early achievements included silver medals at the Canon AIPP Australian Professional Photography Awards, finalist placements in the Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize and Sony ACMP Projections, and in 2015 he was a finalist in the Ballarat International Foto Biennale’s “One for the Books” Prize.
